Titre: First health rehabilitation project (en anglais).

GENERAL PROCUREMENT NOTICE

The United republic of Tanzania has received from the African Development Fund (ADF) a loan in various currencies equivalent to 15.0 million Units of Account toward the cost of the First Health Rehabilitation Project, and it intends to apply the proceeds project. The main components of this project include:

• Rehabilitation of the Muhimbili Medical Center

• Rehabilitation/Relocation/Construction of Urban Health facilities in Dar es Salaam

• Institutional Support and Training

• Support to the National AIDS Control Programme

• Support to the integrated Control of Endemic Diseases

• Technical Assistance and Training

Procurement of contracts financed by the loan will be carried out in accordance with the ADF Rules of Procedure of Goods and Works, and the Rules of Procedure for the use of Consultants, and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Rules. Specific Procurement Notices for contracts to be under the above Rules using ADF standard bidding documents will be announced, when they become available, in Development Business and in local newspapers.
