Titre: Procurement of equipment and supplies.

The Government of the République du Sénégal has received a Grant Aid of 1,5 billion Yen equivalent to approximately US$ 11 million from the Government of Japan to finance procurement of equipment and commodities for various entities in République du Sénégal.

This announcement relates to the procurement of the following items:

Items

UNOPS invites qualified potential suppliers from all countries except the République du Sénégal to express their interest in supplying one or more of the above products. Only companies with experience of supplying the specific products to the region can be considered qualified for this programme. The expression of interest should specify the product(s) of interest and relevant supply experience for each product, and must be received by UNOPS no later than the 15th of June 1998. It should be noted that UNOPS is not obliged to invite to participate in the subsequent bidding process any particular potential supplier who had expressed interest in this project.

Invitations to bid (or requests for quotation) and any subsequent purchase order will be issued in accordance with the rules and procedures of UNOPS.
