Titre: ADB Education II Project (en anglais).

1. The Republic of The Gambia has been granted a loan from the African Development Fund (ADF) in various currencies towards the cost of the Education II Project. It is intended that part of the proceeds of this loan will be applied to eligible payments under the contract issued from the present invitation for bids.

2. The Government of the Republic of The Gambia now invites sealed bids from eligible bidder for the supply of :

A:OFFICE AND AUDIO VISUAL EQUIPMENT
B: KITCHEN

Only suppliers from member countries of the African Development Bank and participant States of the African Development Fund are eligible to bid. All goods and ancillary services to be supplied must have their origin from member countries of the African Development Bank and participant States of the African Development Fund.

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents at the address below.

A complete set of bidding documents may be obtained by interested eligible bidders upon payment of upon submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Gambian Dalasis 1000 = ($100) + D550 (=US$55) DHL Courier Charges. In case of dispatching by mail or any other mode, the borrower cannot be held responsible for non reception of the documents by Bidder. All bids must be delivered to the Secretary, Major Tender Board, Department of State for Finance and Economic Affairs on or before 1200 hours noon 1st June 1998.

Bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders' representative who choose to attend at 1200 hours noon on 1st June 1998 at the Conference room of the Department of State for Finance and Economic Affairs, Banjul - The Gambia.
